Paris, librairie Hachette, 1891. 1 large in-8° volume bound in light brown half calf with corners, smooth spine decorated with a gilt fleuron, dark brown morocco title page, morocco date on tail (rel.Champs). Spine and corners rubbed. Cover preserved, untrimmed copy. Edition decorated with numerous compositions by Hermann Vogel and a charming decoration in the text by Adolphe Giraldon, all finely engraved on copper. Copy no. 61, one of 54 printed on China paper out of a total edition of 90. The copy is free of freckling, which is quite rare for Chine prints, except for a few on the witnesses. Hors-texte in 3 states.
