One of 1,225 copies on vélin chiffon, free of foxing. 2 volumes are included: 1- La princesse de Clèves by Madame de la Fayette, by Louis Conard, Paris, 1907. 1 volume in-8°, bound in Bradel style in dark green half-maroquin with corners, smooth spine with gilt author, title and date. Cover preserved, no foxing. Spine unstained. 2- Le diable amoureux de Gazotte, Jouaust edition, 1883. Attractive binding by Champs, red half-maroquin with corners, ribbed spine richly decorated with gilt fleurons and a small mosaic with gilt author, title and date, gilt head. Cover preserved. Slight weakness of the spine on the first cover. A fine, unblemished copy, complete with Lalauze's 7 etchings.
