Small floral mosaic in the boxes. Gilded head. Contreplat bordered in blue morocco with gilded fillet and decoration, and light-blue moiré endpapers. Slight rubbing on a nerve and at the corner of the upper headpiece; slight weakness of 3 cm on the jaw of the second plate. Binding signed René Kieffer. Covers preserved. Copy no. 194/300 printed on vellum paper. Superb color illustrations by Etienne Dinet. A very clean copy with no foxing.
