Adam and Eve. S.L, S.E, S.D, (circa 1863). Album in-folio bound in dark green half-chagrin, spine ribbed with gilt fleurons and gilt title. Headband torn off, rubbing to spine ends. This volume is composed of 23 engravings mounted on tabs, retracing the life of Adam and Eve. A factitious collection of engravings taken from the "Paradise Lost" illustrated by Flatters and published in 1863 in Paris by Amable Rigaud. Scattered spotting, nicely contrasting engravings.
