Polychrome enameled earthenware group, circa 1935 signed on the base "R. Micheau-Vernez", on the reverse "Henriot Quimper".
Chips, slight wear to glaze.

This group of dancers from Ploaré is a synthesis of the elements that made Micheau-Vernez such a success with Henriot: a sense of rhythm, powerful and stylized movements and expressions and, of course, the magic of the costumes, presented here in a beautiful palette of colors.
