Silver CAFETIERE (925). PARIS, 1809-1819. The pan-shaped body stands on three hoofed feet and features a fluted spout and a turned ebony handle riveted into a disc mantle. The projecting lid with flat terrace is edged with a frieze of water leaves and topped by a knob handle. Monogram within a shield of laurel branches (partially faded). Repairs to the feet and neck (traces of soldering). Height 18 cm; gross weight 354 g.
