Nouvau traité de l'art hermétique ou la triple clef du laboratoire chimiste qui ouvre l'escole de filosofie transmutatoire métalique et de la teinture fisique, fait par DV. Eighteenth-century undated manuscript, small in-4° paperback without cover, notebooks bound with three large seams. Overall in fairly good condition, with a few horns and small defects in the margins and some paper loss at the corners. Last leaf torn by a third; the missing part is in the book.
Legible handwriting with occasional phonetic spelling. Collated and complete, a title page 8 pp.foreword, 195 numbered pages, and the final word on the last leaf. 3 pages with small sketches of chemical symbols. I have not found the author, nor whether this text was published in this form. Rare and singular manuscript.
