Federico Garcia Lorca's poems are illustrated with 5 prints engraved by Pablo Picasso and woodcut color and wash compositions. There are 4 full-page color compositions and 10 washes. Pierre-Jean Mathan was responsible for printing the woodcuts by Guy Descouens, as well as the handwritten text in 30-point Bodoni typeface. The original imprints were printed on Atelier Desclais presses. Two covers with the same imprint, the first of which has a few spots. Total edition of 306 copies, 1 of 50 on Arches vellum, with a suite of color woodcuts on handmade paper from the Richard de Bas mill and a proof of an original print on Japon nacré de couleurs. Copy no. 36. All copies are signed by the publisher and stamped by the Ministry of Justice. A rare copy, complete with color suite and print on Japon paper.
