Printed on strong vellum with full margins, very white paper, very little spotting throughout the text sections. Series packed with numerous engravings from other editions, documents, portraits, suites of illustrations before the letter, etc. Some of the added engravings are ruffled. Some of the added engravings are foxed. A handwritten pencil table indicates the documents added. Two volumes of François de Malherbe, from the same collection, in the same binding.
