Two-piece marine chest of drawers in solid Cuban mahogany wi - Lot 202
Two-piece marine chest of drawers in solid Cuban mahogany with oak drawer interiors. Composed of three drawers on the lower part and, on the upper part, two shutters framing a central niche open on three levels. Each flap reveals a niche and two drawers. Brass flush-mounted handles on the drawers, and flush-mounted carrying handles. Hook locks with keys for the upper part. England, late 19th/early 20th century. Height 143 cm, front 119 cm. A hinged handle is missing on the lower chest. Note: Most certainly a chest of drawers having furnished and decorated the dining room of a large yacht.
