PARIS, Manufacture of Jacob Petit Rectangular porcelain planter standing on four feet with gold lions' heads, polychrome decoration on both sides of bouquets of flowers: anemones, tulips and roses on a black background, the gold-rimmed medallions standing out against a green background with light green latticework. The edges are scrolled with gold scrolls. Inside rim decorated with gold foliage. Marked on the reverse in JP blue - 19th century (gold wear on the edges and slight missing and one foot glued back).
