French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt early 20th century, JTL workshops with LE STENTOR I label, one-piece spruce top with very fine to very wide rings, two-piece maple back on mesh with small, tight, regular descending waves on either side of the joint, ribs of the same wood with wider waves, orange varnish, slight varnish damage and small fracture on the top, 359 mm good condition in old wooden case.
