French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt, early 20th century, JTL workshops, with apocryphal label of Alexandre Gagliano etc. and JTL iron mark on the neck cleat, spruce top with very fine irregular rings, two-piece maple back and sides on mesh with descending medium waves on either side of the joint, same wood ribs with finer, tighter waves, brown patina varnish, slight varnish accidents and small lack on the top at the bottom nut, 360 mm very good condition in a hs wooden case.
