French 4/4 violin from Mirecourt, early 20th century, from the J.T.L workshops, bearing a label from Nicolaus Amatus etc. Spruce top with fine, irregular rings, two-piece maple back with small, tight, well-marked waves slightly descending on either side of the joint, ribs of the same wood matching the back, orange varnish, 356 mm, two small scratches on the table, good condition in an old case.
