Semaine sainte à l'usage de la Reine. Paris, Chez la Veuve Mazières, S.D. (circa 1740).
1 volume in-8°, bound in full burgundy morocco with fanfare, all edges gilt. A fair copy, but badly handled, with a few leaves out of place and minor wear. Very fine work of gilt interlacing on both spine and boards, with decorative gilt fleurons, fleurs-de-lys in spandrels, colored endpapers in dominoté paper with floral motifs. Binding with fanfare and small irons. A copy bearing the coat of arms of the French Queen Marie Leczinska (1703 1768), wife of Louis XV, "the Queen, who sought to relieve the boredom of her solitude, had built up a library composed almost entirely of works of piety and history, most of which were bound by Padeloup (O. Hermal, plate 2507 fer 1)".
