Two-piece marine chest of drawers in solid Cuban mahogany with oak drawer interiors. Composed of three drawers on the lower part and, on the upper part, two shutters framing an open central niche on three levels. Each flap reveals a niche and two drawers. Brass flush-mounted handles on the drawers, and flush-mounted carrying handles. Hook locks with keys for the upper part. England, late 19th/early 20th century. Height 143 cm, front 119 cm. A hinged handle is missing on the lower chest. Note: Most certainly a chest of drawers having furnished and decorated the dining room of a large yacht. Consultant: Philippe NEVEU
