SERIE DE SIX COQUETIERS in silver (950). PARIS, silversmith PMD (?), 1819-1838. Each egg cup stands on a circular pedestal bordered by a frieze of water leaves, a motif repeated on the ring and rim of the egg cup. The body is engraved with the monogram MM. The body is engraved with the monogram MM. The foot is slightly recessed into the body (for an egg cup). The circular base of an egg cup is slightly lower. Height 6.8 cm; total weight 293 g.
