DRAGEOIR in silver (950). PARIS, Antoine HIENCE, 1819-1828. On a square base standing on four lion-legged feet decorated with a quartefoil frieze between two pearled friezes, circular base decorated with water-leaf friezes. The blue crystal body, with translucent reserves of ovals and flowers, is encased in a plain-bottomed mounting with four uprights formed by two acanthus-leaf terms decorated with ribbons and two broad palmettes and quatrefoils, against which rest the leafy scrolled handles ending in terms of a vomiting lion. The domed lid is topped by a twisted fruit-shaped grip on a leafy terrace. It is engraved with a lion hoisting. Height 21 cm; Width (handles) 18.3 cm; Net weight 409 g.
