TEA AND COFFEE SET in silver (950). PARIS, MAILLARD, ROUSSEAU & CIE, 1903-1905 (coffee pot and milk jug), Orfèvrerie MAILLARD, 1905-1910 (sugar pot), TETARD Frères, ap. 1903 (teapot). Comprising a coffee pot, a sugar pot with gilded interior, a teapot and a milk jug. Model standing on three feet with scrolls and fleurons, attachments decorated with two-headed intertwined swan protomes, body encircled by a frieze of water leaves, motif repeated on the lid rim, stylized pinecone seed, spout decorated with palmettes ending in a duck's head. The handles of the pourers are in exotic wood. It is presented on an oval silver-plated metal PLATE bordered by a frieze of ovals, with two leafy handles (goldsmith DR). One of the sugar pot's handles is recessed, the interior gilding is worn, and the coffee pot's pin is not properly inserted. Height (coffeepot) 32.5 cm; Length (tray) 66 cm; Gross weight (without tray) 2575 g.
