Silver OSTENSOIR (950). PARIS, FAVIER Frères, ap. 1838 (Minerve). Rectangular base standing on four lion paw feet with assorted foliage, decorated with a large frieze of water leaves and on the sides of the foot of the Lamb with the seven seals gilded in appliqué on a radiating background on one side and on the other side of the Trinitarian Triangle. On the sides: bunches of grapes. The stem, with its leafy knot at the base, is adorned with two matching circular medallions featuring angels' heads, the sacred heart and the tablets of the Law. It terminates in a sheaf of wheat and bunches, from which emerges the radiant glory centered on the lunette for the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The latter is surrounded by angels' heads in clouds and surmounted by a cross decorated with flowers and ovals. Traces of repair to the base of one ray, to the top of the stem and to the upper arm of the cross (soldering). Height 52.5 cm; Width (spokes) 24 cm; Gross weight 623 g.
