Tortoiseshell marquetry cabinet with gilded engraving on a black engraved ivory background, ebony and blackened wood surrounds and moldings. It features nine drawers decorated with mythological and hunting scenes, framing a wicket door revealing an interior with four small drawers engraved on ivory. It is topped by an openwork bronze gallery decorated with foliage and masks. Bronze claw feet. Resting on a base with four turned legs joined by a brace, with three simulated drawer fronts at the waist. The sides of the cabinet are inlaid with walnut and geometric filleting.
