Very attractive gold window watch signed LEROY Horloger du R - Lot 603

Very attractive gold window watch signed LEROY Horloger du Roi Palais Royal circa 1835. Gold case, "barley grain" guilloché, chased bezels and bezel, gadrooned caseband. Silver dial decorated with foliage and flowers, with two windows, one for the hours, the other for the minutes. Gold case, signed LEROY N°7101. Gilt metal movement, cylinder escapement. Diameter: 36 mm - Thickness: 6.5 mm - Gross weight: 27.6 g (750 thousandths) Théodore Leroy (1788-1839), settled in 114 Galerie de Valois around 1815. He became King Louis Philippe's watchmaker in 1835.
