A late 18th century French made 4/4 violin in the vieux Paris style by Louis. HARMAND bearing his iron mark on the heel of the neck foot L. HARMAND A PARIS, spruce top with fine rings in the center and widening towards the edges, two-piece maple back with very slight horizontal waves, sides of the same wood matching the back, yellow varnish with brown patina 360mm, very old worm marks, various fractures to be restored and refurbished.
