Very large flat desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer. It opens to four framed drawers on one side and four simulated drawer fronts on the other. Fluted tapered legs adorned with pearl rings and finished with sabots. Bronze moldings decorated with water leaves. Leather top (worn) encircled by an ingot mould. Stamped on the underside Maurice RINCK and UNION NATIONALE DES INDUSTRIES DE L'AMEUBLEMENT FRANCAIS. Louis XVI style - Mid-20th century (dents to varnish) Height 78 cm - Width 200 cm - Depth 93.5 cm Maurice RINCK (1902-1983) This cabinetmaker has been in business since 1841.
