Inspired by the palmettes and peacock feathers of the Bigouden region, these earrings reinvent an emblematic motif from Brittany. The peacock feather, a symbol of prosperity, adds a dimension of social marker, echoing the ornaments that once accompanied the Bretons.
An extension of my approach to Breton tattoos: the same lines, the same quest for meaning, the same transmission of a living heritage.
They create a link between tradition and contemporary aesthetics, celebrating the timelessness of symbols that link past and present. Like jewelry, tattoos are adornments that enhance the body.
