On the soccer field of his birth, or in general life, there will be many moments when he feels alone, abandoned by his compatriots.
There, he may discover the thrill of a whisper from a great-grandmother never known, the comforting hand of a tad-kozh, the thrill of imagining his ancestors dancing in the sky to the song of the talabarderien.
The warm thrill of never again being totally alone in this world, now that he knows they're in him, in his genes, in the color of his eyes, in a character.
