PRIGENT Awen, born 1976 Large "peulvan" pitcher, 2025 Glazed chamotte stoneware, plate work, signed underneath Unique piece Height: 34cm - Width: 16cm - Capacity: 1.5 L This piece is a kind of testimony to the (imaginary) lost civilization of Gavrin-Ys. Awen revisits Neolithic motifs on a slender pitcher with a dynamic shape, reminiscent of a monolith. He plays on contrasts between engraved and polished parts, glossy and matt glazed areas (glossy white, patinated turquoise and rough brown/rust).
