VIAUD Lucile born 1993 Frédéric SAULOU born 1989 Grain D'orge, Table, 2025 Glass paste (Verre de Rouergue) and stone sculpture (Anjou limestone) Signed under the tabletop, engraving Unique piece Height 75 cm - Diameter 97 cm Grain d'Orge is the result of an encounter between Lucile Viaud, artist-researcher, and Frédéric Saulou, designer and sculptor. This collaboration is the fruit of four-handed research in which geoverre meets stone sculpted from the mass, marked by the passage of the barley grain tool. The tray is made from Rouergue glass paste (2019, sand from the Lot, snail shells and firewood ashes) using a technique based on precisely selected glass grain sizes to achieve a mineral rendering.
