This painting is made from upcycled leather scraps. I use shapes and scraps from old projects to compose this canvas. It expresses a frontal view of a pine trunk - encountered on the GR34 opposite Ile Vierge - whose bark is extremely textured and cracked. The cracks in the bark become an abstract composition.
