Grain d'Orge is the result of a meeting between Lucile Viaud, artist-researcher, and Frédéric Saulou, designer and sculptor. This collaboration is the fruit of four-handed research where geoverre meets stone sculpted from the mass, marked by the passage of the barley grain tool. The tray is made from Rouergue glass paste (2019, sand from the Lot, snail shells and firewood ashes) using a technique based on precisely selected glass grain sizes to achieve a mineral rendering.
