VIAUD Lucile born 1993 - Lot 326
VIAUD Lucile born 1993
Ribbed civet, 2025
Mouth-blown glass from the Ponant islands
On base
Engraved on the back and hot-stamped
Unique piece
Diameter 25cm
Cives are circular shapes emblematic of the history of glass, originally used in the design of stained glass windows. The symbolism of the disc, omnipresent in the Atelier's work, is reflected in this piece as a fragment of stained glass dedicated to the home. Like a sundial, it allows us to appreciate each of the lights of the four seasons as the day goes by.
*The ribs are made before blowing, using an optical mold to take the impression that opens up and reveals itself during blowing.
