Guérin de la Grasserie A.P. - Lot 79
Guérin de la Grasserie A.P. Armorial de Bretagne contenant les noms et prénoms des familles bretonnes... et l'origine connue de ces familles. Rennes: Deniel, 1845 1848. 2 volumes in 1 folio, modern binding in empire green half-chagrin with corners. Spine ribbed with red morocco title-piece, gilded fleurs-de-lis in the boxes. Very good condition, despite a damaged spine. Contains 132 color chromolithograph plates, 535 pp. Continuous pagination, fine romantic framing surrounding the text. Some foxing. The supplement is a facsimile and has been bound separately in full beige cloth, the 6 additional plates are in full color. A total of 2192 coats of arms in color. A rare and much sought-after work. Consultant : Sylvain Langlois
