Ex-voto.
Model of a three-masted barque fitted out for trade, presented dry of canvas. The hull is planked on ribs. The dead parts are painted black, the bright parts red. The hull ornamentation and scroll are gold. Bituminous standing and running rigging. Arms on shrouds. She rests on her original carved and gilded pine support. One of the legs, facing the "faithful", ends in a lion's claw.
Ex-voto Circa 1860, most probably Venetian in origin, as the lion's claw seems to confirm.
Length HT 107, height 98 cm.
