HAMILTON.
Marine two-day chronometer, "Model 22" produced in 1943 for the US NAVY in Lancaster Pa. Dial marked "HAMILTON - LANCASTER PA USA", hours in Arabic numerals, seconds counter at 6 o'clock and power reserve indicator at 49 o'clock. The chronometer is mounted "à la cardan" and has its own locking system for travel. The movement is enclosed in a brass, dust-proof drum. The case has three levels. The "HAMILTON WATCH CO" nameplate is fixed to the front, between the lock entrance and push-buttons.
