A large yellow gold pendant, adorned with amati interlaced spirals, holding on a rotating shaft a carnelian seal featuring on one side a coat of arms resting on a Maltese cross, enhanced by the Duke's crown in a pearled surround punctuated by a Maltese cross. The reverse features an inscription engraved in Persian script on either side of a vertical axis in a dense floral design. Set in 375 thousandths pink gold. Work of the 19th century. Dim.: 5 x 3.8 cm - Gross weight: 18.74 gr (585 and 375 thousandths)
