SANDOZ Horloger de la Marine n°11298 circa 1920/1930. Beautiful gold pocket watch n°18001. Flat case, smooth bowl. Gold dial, guilloché in the center. Arabic numerals, minute track. Blued steel pear-shaped hands, second hand at 6 o'clock. Mechanical movement, serrated all the way to the center, caliber, cut bi-metal balance, flat balance-spring, anchor escapement. In a leather pouch. Diameter: 49 mm - Gross weight: 68.77 g (750 thousandths) NB: The mechanism is signed Gustave SANDOZ, appointed watchmaker to the navy in 1874. This watch was marketed by his son Gustave Roger SANDOZ, located at 10, rue de la Paix in Paris.
