Pretty oblong openwork brooch in yellow gold, surmounted by a finely chased floral design adorned at its center with a round faceted amethyst approx. 6 mm in diameter. The decoration rests on a piqueted gold ring underlined by a jagged frieze (dents and deformations on the back of the brooch). Pin system. French work from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
