Collectif, Simenon (Georges) Leblanc (Maurice). - Lot 98
Collectif, Simenon (Georges) Leblanc (Maurice). Set of 47 stapled collections of 1930s feuilletons in oblong in-8 format. An amusing amateur job of cutting out and assembling all the pages of the feuilletons published in Ouest-Eclair. Day after day, patiently. This person has bound the pages in strong cardboard, glued on a label and penciled in the title and author. The set is in fairly good condition, with many sentimental novels by Marcelle Vioux, Léon Groc, Lucie Delarue-Mardrus and others. And adventure novels, Arnould Galopin, detective stories too, including Simenon's L'Homme de Londres and Maurice Leblanc's La Cagliostro se venge. On the reverse side of the cut sheets are advertisements from the period, newsreels and humorous strips by Professor Nimbus. A touching collection that took hours to complete. 47 small volumes
